Congratulations to Edward and Sylvia

Congratulations to Edward and Sylvia on their Wedding. The reception took place in a marquee in the grounds of the groom''s parents'' home in Milford on Sea, Hampshire and the couple arrived from the church in a beautiful horse drawn carriage.

This was truly international event as Edward and Sylwia live in Houston, Texas and many of the guests were arriving from Europe.

In keeping with the bride's Polish background, the bride and groom's mothers greeted the couple with a plate of bread and salt to share to symbolise future prosperity in their married lives, and identical glasses of water and vodka, traditionally whichever of the couple gets the vodka has the upper hand in the marriage!

Red Herring Catering's menu had a Polish flavour with a vodka cured gravadlax starter, followed by seabass with a lime and watercress hollandaise and finishing with a miniature trio of desserts.
