40 year of marriage is something to celebrate and John and Marion Jack and 160 friends did just that with a lively party at their home in Droxford, Hampshire Guests were offered dry martinis or Cosmopolitan cocktails on arrival accompanied by a selection of hot and cold canapes including Wonton prawns with chilli and chive jam and seared red tuna with a bearnaise sauce. Later in the evening Red Herring Catering provided a monkfish and shrimp stir fry with fragrant black and white rice followed by sweet canapes of chocolate hazlenut brownie, miniature lemon meringue tarts and physalis in cinnamon sugar cracknel. Supper was a fantastic four tier 'cake' of whole Cheddar, Stilton and Brie decorated with figs, celery and grapes. |
