The reception took place at Lucy's parents' home in Beaulieu and the couple took their extensive travels as the theme for the occasion. Guests were seated at tables named for each destination the couple had visisted and a friend created a fabulous wedding cake in the shape of a stack of suitcases already packed for the honeymoon. Guests enjoyed an antipasto starter of cured meats and speciality cheese, followed by a main course of salmon with a red pesto crust and finishing with Red Herring's signature sweet trio of chocolate brownie, caramelised lemon tart and lavendar shortbread with a raspberry panacotta. In the evening Red Herring Catering served Thai pad noodles with chicken, coriander and ginger, in china rice bowls with chopsticks. The fantastic marquee complete with sunken dance floor was supplied by Buchannan Events, and filled with a jungle of plants to complement the exotic theme. |
