Sam Beldam turns 18! August 30th, 2008 Red Herring provided the catering for Sam Beldam's Caribbean themed 18th birthday which saw 100 of his friends and family arriving to the marquee, set up in the grounds of his home in Hook, Hampshire, being greeted with canapes and then taking their seats for a 2 course dinner of Trinidadian Chicken Pelau followed by hot rum butter barbequed bananas and caramelised pineapple.

"Once again I am writing to thank you and your team for the suggestions, ideas and huge effort that went into the catering of Sam's Caribbean themed party.

The food was absolutely delicious, as were the cocktails.  All you staff, both in and out of the kitchen, were charming.  I wanted to extend a special thanks to Sarah, who organised everything beautifully, with a special mention also to the bar staff, who showed considerable grace under pressure!

Red Herring have again provided an extremely professional, approachableand helpful service, duly noted and admired by the guests as well as the hosts. It is therefore little wonder that we choose you for our special occasions as our preferred caterer, time and time again.
