Katherine & David celebrate at The Tithe Barn in Ditcham

December 12th, 2009

Katherine & David celebrated thier marriage with a reception at The Tithe Barn in Ditcham, Surrey with 150 of thier family and friends. Guests were treated to champagne and canapes while the photos and speeches took place, followed by a 2 course seasonal themed wedding breakfast which included cassolette of chicken with roasted winter vegetables. Guests partied into the evening while we served a sumptious cheese buffet with slices of the wedding cake.

 Just a small note to say a very big 'Thank you' from all of us for all you did to make Katherine & David's wedding such a great occasion for all of us.

We had such a good time on Saturday and it's mainly down to you and the 'Red Herring' team. I soon realsied from all of the early discussions and deliberations about planning the big day that we were going to be in safe hands - and you didn't dissapoint - in fact you made us feel totally confident that we could just rely on your professional expertise to make it all happen on the day - and you did, so a big thank you.

The food was delicious, we have had so many early comments from friends and family about the chicken dish and the canapes - a real culinary triumph. Your chef Tony and the behind the scenes team excelled themselve, please will you pass on our particular thanks for al thier hard work. 

The serving staff were a delightful mix of being discreat and attentive, the evening bar staff and  clearing up guys were most careful to reassure us that all would be cleared away and the barn left in good order for us to hand over on the Sunday - which it was. 

But most particular Steve, I want to thank you, throughout the wedding, the planning, the build up, the day itself, through all my early panicy phone calls about this and that you brought a wonderful mix of calm and creative input which was spot on and very much appreciated - you were an absolute star, thank you!

I don't think there can be any doubt that Katherine & David enjoyed their day to the full - it was plain for all ot see! But you also made it possible for John & I to relax and enjoy the day too, for which we are most grateful.

I hope that you all have a good, relaxing and family filled Christmas and a very prosperous New Year!
