The Ellingham Show for STM Events 

August 8th, 2009

Red Herring worked alongside Sterling Travel Management again on Saturday at The Ellingham Show which took place on Somerley Estate.  The brief was to cater a summer's day out for 300 employees with an Italian theme! We served fresh stonebaked pizza, with a selection of toppings, from our pizzeria along with seasonal salads for guests to help themselves to, followed by summer berry pavlova which went down a treat in the gorgeous weather!

The best acolade of all is to be a ble to tell you that the MD of the company was delighted and most complimentary about your staff who impressed him greatly.

Michelle was brilliant - absolutely on the ball and running a streamlined service from the very start to the very finish. Your waitresses were delightful, focussed and enthusiastic and you barmen were smart, efficient and a delight to deal with. The pizzas went down a treat and the puds were 'to die for'! In addition, everything was displayed beautifully in keeping with our italian theme. 

What I appreciated most was the willing attitude and courtesy - nothing was too much trouble for anyone, EVERYONE focussed on making the event a success and it was a great success.

Finally a huge thank you to you Steve for taking such a personal interest in the project with your site visits at a time when I know you were considerably under pressure with other events. 

As you know, I'm working on our next possible venture as we speak....so fingers crossed!
